St. Louis Mission Trip

July 7-12, 2024 | This year we will be joining One Team International for the STL project. One Team seeks to empower students to share the good news of Jesus and take it back to their number mission field. We will have music, stories, crafts, and games to help reach these communities for Jesus. The project is July 7-12 and the cost is $150 with a $25 deposit due at registration.

One Team International will provide training and time to prepare our hearts for the week of ministry. First Baptist Church of Maryville, IL will host us for the week and provide meals.

We will have meetings to plan and prepare for our trip that are crucial to the mission. We will meet on June 2nd, 19th (following VBS), and 30th. Times TBD

2023 Saint Louis Tentative Schedule
Sunday, July 7th
3:30 pm Meet at FBCFCC. Load up and head to FBC Maryville. Registration begins @ FBC Maryville. (Doors will not open until 4:00 pm and recommended that all groups attempt to register by 6:00 pm. Each student group will
be responsible for their dinner on Monday evening. We will give you a list of area
restaurants.)
7:30 pm Arrive @ FBC Maryville for Kick-off.
7:45 pm Doors open for Kick-off in Worship Center.
8:00 pm Kick-off begins!
9:45 pm Snack.
10:00 pm Leadership Meeting. (We will have a brief meeting with pastors, student
pastors, and adult leadership from all participating churches at a location announced
after the Kick-off.)
10:45 pm Prepare for bed.
11:15 am Lights Out.

Monday, July 8th
7:15 am Rise & Shine.
8:00 am Breakfast.
9:30 am Worship & Word.
11:00 am Break.
11:15 am Training.
12:00 pm Lunch.
1:15 pm Depart for Ministry Site (Please pick-up your promotional flyers before
departure.)
1:45 pm Arrive at Ministry Site (This will be an opportunity to get acclimated to your
ministry area; prayer walk; decorate (if applicable); pass out provided flyers to promote
your ministry; establish van routes. Do these in any orders you wish.)
4:15 pm Depart for showers. (Shower Schedule will be provided upon arrival.)
6:00 pm Dinner.
7:30 pm Worship & Word.
9:00 pm Break.
9:15 pm Concert of Prayer.
10:00 pm Snack.
10:15 pm Leadership Meeting.
10:45 pm Prepare for bed.
11:15 pm Lights Out.

9:00 pm Church Group Time. (This will be an opportunity for Youth Pastors/Leaders to
sit down with their students and process what God is doing.)

4:30 pm Return to Ministry Site for Parent’s Night. (Pizzas will be provided for your
youth group and leadership.)
6:00 pm Parent’s Night. (Run Van Routes). (This will be the culmination night for your
ministry. It will give your children that you have served an opportunity to present a
program for their parents/grandparents while also providing an opportunity for families
to hear the Gospel.)
7:30 pm Parent’s Night concludes/Run van routes.
8:30 pm Depart for FBC Maryville.
9:00 pm Worship.
9:45 pm Church Group Time.
10:30 pm Snack.
10:45 pm Leadership Meeting.

Friday, July 7th
7:00 am Rise & Shine: Pack-up; and Clean-up. (We are asking all participating
students, and sponsors to leave FBC Maryville as clean as they found it. With all of us
working together, this should not take long.)
9:00 am Breakfast. (Last minute clean up of kitchen and dinning area.)
10:15 am Final Celebration! (This will be a final time of celebration, worship, and Word,
allowing God to prepare your heart for your number one mission field—your family,
your hometown, and your school. We will also have a brief report time seeing firsthand
what God did through your lives during the course of the week. We understand the
desire to go home, but we are asking all student ministries that are able, to please stay
until the very end, as this is a very important part of the process.)
11:45 am Depart for lunch and a fun activity.
9:00 pm Arrive back at FBCFCC
